Happy Weekend!

I just posted a new quilt on the 'Quilting World' page. Since I finished this one and sent it off to it's new owner I have started working on our 1800 outfits.

I got my bonnet cut out and put together last night. The next one shall be put together differently that is for sure!  I have several patterns by Buckaroo Bobbins that I have been making over the years for Carl. I made Carl a 'Frock Coat' some time ago, but since he has lost all his weight after his heart surgery it just hangs on him. So now he needs me to make another one that will fit better. That is on the list as well as an outfit for me. We shall see how much I manage to get done by the next western festival.....

Until next time,

  1. Your quilt came out beautiful, I love it! I haven't made any quilts like that, but with all the stash I have I consider making one or two... I'd love to see your bonnet when it's done. Had a look at the pattern page, lots of interesting things to make, but I'm not into sewing clothes anymore... :)

  2. Thanks Astrid! I'll try and get a picture of the bonnet after I get the other stuff done.... I'm not really into clothes sewing anymore either, but there are some things that are just so expensive I have to break down and make them LOL!
