Here it is another Friday already!

It seems that every time I think about getting on here it is Friday again. The extra hours at work are really cutting into my fun time, LOL!

Today I managed to get the floors cleaned up and some of the wash done. At times we have been having problems with the dryer frying a certain type of fabric. About a month ago I opened it all up thinking there was a lot of lint flying around the outside of the drum and that was creating a higher temperature, but tonight it did it again to my mattress pad. I was not a happy camper. I'm just glad that I hadn't spent a fortune on the pad. Now I shall have to go secondhand shopping to get a new one. Oh, the things I have to do.....

Today we went to SAS, which is *gasp* a fabric store. We went over to pick up some fabric so I could make Carl some more caftans. The last 2 I made are getting used daily, so he needs a couple more. I also have a quilt floating around my brain that needs to be made. I just need to dig out the correct fabrics from the stash (no shopping needed for this one)....

Energy is good enough that it is getting me through the extra hours at work and getting a few things done around the house too! That is a plus for me.....

Now, I just need to remember to post more!

Here it is Friday already!

I can't believe I have not posted since Sunday... Part of that was because I needed to work on my computer. Remember the fun I had trying to post pictures awhile ago? Well, I 'turned off' some things I shouldn't have and I needed to find the 'fix', but that took time. Time was in short supply this week with me starting to work 12 more hours and it took until today to finally 'fix' what I 'broke' LOL! I think I have managed to get things back together like I want them. I also finished Carl's second caftan so that pushed other things down on the list. I'm sure glad I got them done because he hasn't been out of one or the other much since they came out of the sewing room.

I remember when we first got together (24 years ago in February, *gasp*) and I made him one of these caftans out of a really nice 'warm' fabric. Boy, was the fabric choice wrong back then..... He lived in shorts and t-shirts all year long (we lived in central NY at the time) and he never did wear it much. I finally put it in a box of stuff for donations about 4 or 5 years ago. Of course after his heart surgery his temperature regulator went on the fritz and he needed to have something warm to wear..... Now with the stroke he needs something even warmer, thus the new caftans. Every time he says to me, "I'm cold" we just chuckle. It wasn't that long ago I was putting my cold feet on him to get warm, now he does it to me.

I have started a new Facebook page for Coyote Quilts & Specialties and if you would be so kind to go on over and 'like' it I can get it going full steam. I am only lacking 6 'likes' to be able to get seen all over :)....

Ahhh..... the 'energy' thing....... Well, I have to say I did real well for spending more time at 'work' then I thought I would. It is amazing what an extra 12 hours at work can do to a gal.... I only had 1 night that the bed was calling me way to early and that may have been because I stayed up way to late a couple night reading (*grin) as well as working more......

Another Sunday night....

Good evening all! I am sitting here watching the 'National Treasure' movies. We just finished the first one and am starting the second one. We thought that there was another one that was suppose to be made, but we haven't seen it yet. Everybody from these movies will be dead and gone by the time they get another movie made :)....

I finished one of Carl's caftans today. I managed to get most of it done yesterday and finished the hemming today. Tomorrow I may work on the second one. So, I guess this means that my energy level is okay again today.  I have even managed to get some exercise this weekend too. So, I guess I am on a roll LOL!

Well, I am going back to my movie.

Lazy Thursday!

I should not have stayed up so late last night. Energy way low... I was going to get into the sewing room, but the energy went right out the window about 3 today.

We are sitting here watching a couple 'Jesse Stone' movies. I'm so glad that I can veg out and watch good movies. Besides Tom Selleck is still a hunk LOL!

I at least fixed my problem with posting pics here. Not happy with the solution, but I will deal with it. I think I am going to go over to my "Quilting World" area and post a couple pictures. So, go on over there and see what I have been up to.

Good eveing one and all....

Total frustration with Blogger tonight. I'm sure it is probably operator error, but still! I can not post any photos while on my laptop, but can on my desktop..... I just can not figure out what is going on (pout). (Yes, sister I know, I am good at pouting :)).....

On the 'energy' front, things are cool... I managed to get my cutting table cleaned in my sewing room, a couple loads of wash folded and put away as well as 2 more loads washed. I was even out running around with Carl for a couple hours, also. He thought it was Friday all day and I was wishing it was. I don't want to go to work tomorrow, I'd rather play... Oh well, after tomorrow I will have 3 days to play...

Good night and happy dreams,

Good Monday!

How has everybody's Monday gone? Mine has been a real bear! I sure am glad it is almost to an end and tomorrow has just got to be better!

As far as the energy level is today I can say it only got me through 8 hours of work and nothing after I got home. I really have to find some energy this week so I can start on a new quilt for a granddaughter..... Of course I need to clean up the sewing room first. Everything was 'stashed' in there for the party and of course I can't see the top of the cutting table. At least it shouldn't take to much time to get it back in order.

Good Sunday Afternoon!

Today is the last day of vacation. Not happy about that, but did enjoy my time off.

Carl's birthday party was a huge success yesterday and I want to thank everyone that made it so.

Today my energy is way low..... Just want to lay around the house today and I just may accomplish that much....

Don't have any comments on my changes yet. I'm still undecided, but did want to update and get jazzier.

Changes, changes, changes!

Good evening all!
Yeah, you can tell I have been playing again :)... I'm not sure if I really like the whole set up, but will leave it alone for awhile.

If you could drop me a 'comment' below to let me know what you think, I'd appreciate it.

Somebody has a special day today........

I sure hope this works better this time than last time. If you notice the date on the heading on the previous post you will see it says, 'January 2' and the first line says the 'first day of the new year'. I did try several times to post that on the 1st, but my internet was giving me fits... Lets see how it works this time...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Carl!  Love you bunches!

Well, the photos just won't load for me.... So a different glitch today, sigh....

Happy New Year!

The first day of the new year and so far I haven't gotten in any trouble, LOL!

For those that have visited my blog before you should notice a new 'widget' to the left. It is 'NaBloPoMo'. I joined their challenge for the month of January and it is suppose to be on 'where do you get your energy' or anything else you may want to post. It's a good one for me because I usually don't have much 'energy' after work to do what I want or need to do. In my house the housework is the last thing on the list. I really have to be in the 'mood' to get that stuff done. The only housework I really do on a regular basis is my wash and there are times when even that doesn't get done like it should.

When I am in the mood to get the house spic and span then you had better stay out of my way. I tend to get just a little bit grumpy having to walk around somebody to get where I am going. You can just ask my husband about that..... I also find that I get more things done when I have less time. You know the days that you have to go in a million different directions, but need to get a couple things accomplished in the house.... I also generally have extra energy when 1) there is company coming, 2) there is company coming~~~~ I may not scrub the floors to a high shine, but I will get them vacuumed, clean sheets on the spare bed and the bathroom cleaned. If I plan on getting more done and run out of time I don't get upset. My life is not about how clean my house has been my whole life...

My energy today was pretty good. I accomplished going to a family New Years party, visited a sick grandson and family, partially rearranged a bedroom, cut out 2 caftans, had company and worked on my blog. No the dishes didn't get done. They will be there for me tomorrow unless a gremlin comes to visit...
